Because we source directly from farms and farmer co-operatives, we're able to ensure our spices are fresh (recently harvested) and pure (free from all additives of any kind).

All our single spices are sourced directly from farmers and ground by us, which means -

1) our spices are fresher and free of all additives; and

2) we pay our farmers a fair price.

Generally speaking, the sooner you use your spices, the better they taste. Unfortunately, most supermarket spices have changed hands 7+ times and have taken YEARS (yes, years) to reach your supermarket. Therefore, they no longer look or taste the way they did when they were just off the farm.

We source our spices directly from farmer co-operatives, and grind them for you ourselves. Since they reach you at peak freshness, they have a longer shelf life in your kitchen.
